Dine No Mor
went to dine-mor for lunch today. sadly this place has gone to the dogs. its not the dine-mor it used to be. i remember when they 1st opened. it used to be a lovely place. relaxing environment, good service, good food, good crowd. it was an exclusive place where not everyone could dine at.
Today its a different story, the place was so noisy with ppl (including the staff) shouting and yapping away like fish market. ok so maybe you cant blame dine-mor for the kind of crowd they attract. to make that worse there’s 2 tv’s showing 2 different channels real loud. i wanted to sit at a corner table where u get a couch instead of chairs but the waiter wouldnt let me coz he thought other customers would come and they could accomodate more customers at this table. aparently the other customers that sat there later on were the waiters friends. we ordered lunch and the waiter kept nagging to have something to drink. when i said water would be fine he insists we have mineral water. ??? what happened to normal water???? so fine we’ll do with mineral water. as soon as that waiter leaves another waiter throws a menu on the table. now quite irritated, i growl at the guy we that we already ordered. 10 mins later the dishes come. its good that the standard of the food hasnt changed. a lil later a waiter comes with 2 mineral water bottles and glasses and goes off. soon we finish our meal. within about 5 seconds of finishing the dishes are off the table and the bill is brought. heh!!! and there’s a nice 10% service charge on it. what service?? did i get any service? other than the speed at which they brought the bill everything else was a piss poor service.
i dont think i’ll go to dine-mor again. other than maybe for take away..these guys need to get their act straight. sure they’ll make lots of money coz every tom dick and harry come there, but is thats what its all about? i’ve been to a cyver kadae and got better service.
i hope some1 from din mor reads this. and i hope they enjoy as much as i did. 😀
